Overview

LightCMS uses rest APIs for integration with external systems to cover the following areas:

  • Card lifecycle
  • Card tokens
  • Card account
  • Card transactions and authorization holds
  • Client subject

External system can be any system which deals with Card, Account and Subject entities. LightCMS is master of Card entity and provides APIs related to cards management and lifecycle to the systems which are dealing with cards (e.g. client facing channels, core banking systems). As LightCMS also works with Card accounts and Subjects (in role of card holders and account owners) it needs to be integrated to the systems which are the masters of these entities. It is typically Core banking system (CBS) and/or Customer relation system (CRM).
